Environmental activist Robert Swan warns rising India of ‘swimming’ in waste

Robert Swan, the only person to walk to the North and South Poles, on Tuesday warned “economically-rising” India that it will end up “swimming in waste” if it forgets the lessons of sustainability.

Indeed, almost parallel to our economic-rising, we’re developing large heaps of waste and garbage without any (or too little) sustainable projects in our mind. And, it’s really concerning, isn’t it? The 56-year-old environmental activist, however, has good words for Indian youth whom he said had the best attitude in the world towards environment.
